The PHL is delighted to have partnered with Northern Haulage
The Premier Hockey League (PHL) has today unveiled Northern Haulage, as its official logistics sponsor.
Northern Haulage is a South African based transport and logistics service provider specialising in the cross-border market into the SADC region.
The new sponsorship agreement sees Northern Haulage come on board for the finals weekend of the PHL – that takes place this weekend at the Randburg Hockey Stadium. Northern Haulage also has a first right of renewal to continue its sponsorship for future PHL events.
“We are delighted to have partnered with Northern Haulage for the remainder of the 2016 event. We think this is the start of a very interesting long partnership between our two entities,” said Marissa Langeni, CEO of the South African Hockey Association.
“I saw the PHL on SuperSport and was blown away by the professionalism of the event. This is a massive step forward for hockey in South Africa and it provides a great platform for growing brands, like ourselves, to reach a key high LSM audience,” added Duncan Bayne, MD of Northern Haulage.
The PHL reaches the business end of the month long tournament this Saturday and Sunday, as South Africa’s four best men’s and women’s hockey teams battle it out for the right to be crowned inaugural PHL champions. The semi-final action gets underway this Saturday at 10h00.
